Gareth and I have just finished hours of counting money! Thanks to pupils at Eglwys Wen School we have the first £400 to go towards our feeding jar project. This will feed children at the new school in Chiziro. It is an amazing amount which will go a long way to providing one hot meal a day for the children like these.
We had another long night of counting last night and even roped mum in for some extra support. Lisvane primary raised the magnificent sum of £842 with their feeding jars. We can't thank them enough. Brilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks now go to Jodie Jay and the pupils of Coed Y Lan primary school who have raised over £500 for the Feeding Jar Project. This is an incredible amount as the school only has 76 families. One family raised over £100 in their huge jar!!!
