Gower Yomp 2014

Yet another very successful 12 mile sponsored walk took place a few weeks ago.All 43 walkers had a great time and the weather was kind to us. The walk crossed various types of terrain which made it interesting as well as challenging. All money raised this year will be helping to refurbish The Good Samaritan School in Lusaka.

Winners at the Good Samaritan School in Lusaka

We are pleased to announce that the soccer and netball teams at The Good Samaritan School in Lusaka won the inter schools championships for their region. Many congrats to the pupils and the staff who worked hard to prepare them for the games.

Ole! Spanish Night.

What a great night we had last Saturday. The lounge of our house became a restaurant for the night and people tucked into a wide variety of Spanish food.Everyone seemed to have a good time and we raised lots of money towards our feeding project in Chiziro.
Thanks to all those who supported us and our band of helpers who worked tirelessly all evening.

Feeding Project at Good Samaritan School, Lusaka

We are thrilled to announce that we have enough people signed up on a standing order basis to start the well needed feeding project at The Good Samaritan School. This will mean that children will now receive one hot meal a day and we are sure that this will lead to far more pupils attending school on a regular basis. As you know we already feed hundreds of children in Chiziro and we were able to see this first hand during our visit in October. Thanks to all our supporters.
